Kirkland is a small village at the north-west corner of Ennerdale, with views along the lake.
Directions: Kirkland can be reached either by heading north from Ennerdale Bridge or by leaving the B 5086 at the first right turn north of Rowrah or the first left hand turn south of Lamplugh Cross.
