Knipe End is a small village located just to the east of Tarn Hows. The village is stretched out along several roads, while a rough track heads north-west towards Tarn Hows and the super viewpoint of Black Crag.
Directions: Knipe End can be reached from Hawkshead by taking the first left-turn north of the village, then the first right turn onto Skinner How Lane.
