This Newbiggin (one of three in the area) is located on the south-western corner of the North Pennines, and is built around a crossroads just to the south of Crowdunble Back. Newbiggin Hall is between the village and the beck, while the NT property of Acorn Back (with an impressive herb garden and orchard) is just to the south-west).
