The ruins of Borve Castle can be found near Torlum, on the south coast of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides. The castle was built in the mid 14th century and was based around an oblong tower-house. The castle was originally three stories high and surrounded by other buildings. The castle was owned by the Macdonalds of Benbecula and was probably built by Amy MacRuari. It was inhabated until the 17th century.
